FoundFirst - Search Engine Optimisation.

Is your web site producing the amount of enquiries you expected or wanted? No! Then read on........

Your site is most likely needs the expertise of an SEO company (search engine optimisation). Whereby your site is helped to be what is termed search engine friendly. Foundfirst are one such company that are able to assist your web site to get to the top and help you and your business succeed.

Most people looking for anything on the web will probably use a search engine, such as Google or Yahoo to find the product or item they require.
The internet is so vast now, with more and more sites are being registered and built everyday, therefore the chances of your website getting found get less and less. The search engine traffic increases daily with ever changing algorithms to ensure the searcher gets as near as possible the item they are searching for. If your website is not optimised you have almost no chance that the search engines will find it. Actually the search engines will find it, but the person searching probably will not, because it will most likely be on page 236, and who looks that far. For your business to get found it needs to appear on, preferably, the first three pages of any search engine.

The search engines strive to produce the best results possible for any given search term, constantly changing the way they retrieve results. They also have algorithms to stop the cheats, people try all sorts of methods to outwit the search engines but eventually they get found out, and get banned, never to be seen again.

Getting your site to the top of, for example, Google or Yahoo, is a must for any business, getting found on the first two or three pages will vastly increase the number of prospective customers that visit your site.
Unfortunately to get your site a high position on the search engines is very difficult to achieve and and even more difficult to keep you there. Once your competitors see your site above them, they want to know how you have achieved this, so they can get higher than you. This process involves optimising your site and submitting it to the search engines regularly. All this takes a considerable amount of time and effort.

You could optimise your website yourself but be very careful not to be classed as spamming, there is a fine line, which once it is crossed it is very difficult to get your site reinstated onto a search engine.
Let us professionally optimise your website to avoid the pitfalls.

Search Engine Report

We will analyse and produce a search engine report about your web site.

This report will recommend certain points that will help your web site obtain a higher ranking position on all the major search engines.

Search Engine Submission

We will then submit your site to the top search engines and monitor your position.

We will resubmit your site regularly to maintain your position on the Search Engines.

As submitting your site only once would not maintain your top position, we prefer to offer search engine submission services, on a twelve month contract. However we will consider optimization on a one off fee basis if necessary.

With every web site not being the same, we unfortunately, cannot offer a set price. Our prices correspond to the amount of work involved.

Web Site Hosting & Design

We can also offer a web design and hosting service, should you require this.

The cost of this service depends on the size of the site and the design structure of the site.

Search Engine Optimisation

In order to drive traffic to your site, you need to do well in the search engines. The search engines are the biggest source of traffic on the internet, and in order for you to increase your sales volumes you need to get that traffic to you.

First of all, you need to ensure you've get the right keywords and make sure these are what your customers are going to be using. Once you have the keywords, you can begin optimisation. Search engine optimisation is the process of making minor changes to your website pages, some changes you can see and some you can't.

The visible changes - you want your keywords to appear prominently in the body of your web page, try and the headings, in bold at the start of the text. Don't forget to fill in the alt tags, the first three are the most important - make sure your title has your keyword in, think of a good meta description it's what the people scanning the search engines often see, and keep using the meta keywords tag (even though some search engines are tending to disregard it).

Search Engine Re-optimisation

As mentioned earlier (in rankings) the search engine calculations change over time, as does both your website and other peoples websites. Unfortunately this means, due to the competitive nature of business, at some point your rankings will probably go down.

In order to continually achieve good rankings and maximise your own sales, you should do more - if you notice your rankings slipping maybe its time to initiate a re-optimisation of your website. Re-analyse keywords, ensure your latest business offerings are reflected on your website and these (and all your other new web pages) are properly optimised.

As the calculations search engines use constantly change, may be your site needs tweaking even though nothing else you know of has changed.

Search Engine Ranking

Search engines consider different parameters to be of varying importance and each of the search engines use different calculations when considering what is relevant, that's why your website will be in a different position on the different search engines. What's also important is the search engine calculations change over time (along with your and your competitors websites), that's why your ranking can significantly change in a reasonably short amount of time.

So what do you do? Well, you need to effectively monitor your search engine rankings, we'd recommend on at least a monthly basis (we know you're busy)

How do you do it? One way is to visit each of the main search engines in turn and type in your keyword and see whether your site is in the top 10, 20 or 30. Record your position, repeat for the next keyword, when you have checked all your keywords, go to the next search engine and start over, etc. This can be a long process.
